We are a healthcare practice specializing in digestive healthcare, which includes, but is not limited to, swallowing disorders, diseases of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, liver, and pancreas. We perform screening procedures for colon cancer as well as the diagnosis and treatment of acid reflux, constipation, and diarrhea disorders.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic gastrointestinal diseases while educating the patient about the disease in a sociable and compassionate environment. We want our patients to feel comfortable expressing their feelings and concerns as well as being updated and involved in their treatment planning.
About Dr. Sandy
Dr. Reginald Sandy was born in Oklahoma and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Medicine Technology from the University of Oklahoma College of Health. He then went on to attend the Oklahoma State College of Osteopathic Medicine, formerly known as the Oklahoma State College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery. He is also a board-certified physician in internal medicine and is licensed to practice throughout the state of Indiana. Dr. Sandy is affiliated with the Marian College of Osteopathic Medicine and has also served as an adjunct professor at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Sandy specializes in gastroenterology and has over 28 years of experience within the field.
Specializations
Dr. Sandy specializes in many gastroenterological procedures. These procedures include ERCP (endoscopic retrograde pancreatography), Radiofrequency ablation therapy of Barrett's esophagus, and screening colonoscopies with endoscopic mucosal resection.
